Can I use MIDI devices?

Yes.

WizeCore supports MIDI connectivity through USB, allowing you to connect MIDI controllers, keyboards, sequencers, and other compatible devices.

Can it work as an audio interface?

Yes.

The USB-C interface/control connection allows integration with computers and external software for audio workflows, control, and future software expansion.

What is the user interface like?

WizeCore features an integrated touchscreen for direct control, along with three footswitches for hands free operation, ideal for live performance and quick preset switching.

What computer powers the system?

WizeCore runs on a Raspberry Pi CM5.

That gives it the flexibility of a compact computer inside a stage ready hardware format.

Basically:

computer brain, pedal body.

Is it powered through USB-C?

Yes.

WizeCore uses a 5V USB-C power input.

Are the outputs balanced?

The XLR outputs are balanced.

This is useful for cleaner signal transmission in studio environments and live stages with longer cable runs.

Which plugins can run on WizeCore?

WizeCore supports any plugin compatible with Raspberry Pi architecture (ARM based systems). In general, this includes LV2 plugins designed for Linux based environments.

Are the plugins free?

Many plugins are open source and free to use. In addition, premium plugins from third party vendors will also be available through the store.

You will also be able to publish and sell your own plugins through the WizeCore store.

How are updates handled?

System and plugin updates are delivered via WiFi, allowing you to easily keep your device up to date with new features, improvements, and security fixes.

How much will it cost?

Pricing is still being finalized to ensure the best balance between component quality and affordability. The expected range is between €800 and €1100.

What type of enclosure does it have?

The enclosure is made of aluminum, providing excellent heat management, durability, and a premium look.

Can I record audio with WizeCore?

Yes. WizeCore includes a built in looper and a micro DAW, allowing you to record and experiment directly on the device.

Is it open source?

Not fully. However, parts of the software and plugin ecosystem will be made available to the community.
